The Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition will feature the world's best master sand sculptors competing on the #1 Beach in America! Twenty-four of the top sand sculptors from around the globe representing Belgium, Canada, Italy, Latvia, The Netherlands, Romania, Singapore and The United States will be competing for the title "2011 Doubles Division World Champions."

The Competition takes place November 10-13 on Siesta Key's unparalleled crystal white sand beach. Using just sand and water, 12 sculpting teams will create incredible works of art that will reach heights of up to 12 feet. Visitors can watch as the sculptures are created-from the initial "roughing out" to the meticulous crafting of fine details. You truly have to see it to believe it! Proceeds benefit Mote Marine Laboratory's Sea Turtle programs.
