New Event Dates Begin This Month

Beginning in November the standard meeting dates for the Chamber's three monthly networking events will be changing.  NOTE: November's GMSK Networking Breakfast will not follow this scheduling regime due to its proximity to Thanksgiving.  The normal schedule for November and thereafter is as follows:

Business Card Exchange - third Thursday
"Good Morning Siesta Key" Breakfast - last Wednesday

Ambassadors Plan New Member Reception

Andy Reeves, Chairman of the Chamber Ambassadors, SKCC's membership recruitment and retention arm, has set Thursday, November 5 for the next Chamber New Member Reception and Orientation at the Chamber office in Siesta Village.  The reception is open to all recently joined Chamber members.  Coffee and pastries will be served, so stop by to meet other members and learn all that your membership offers.  The event is free, but reservations are requested.  To RSVP, contact Debbie at 349-3800 or debbie@SiestaKeyChamber.com.

SandFest 2009 a Sell-out!

With ticket sales exceeding SandFest organizing committee co-Chairmen Tom Kouvatsos and Russell Matthes's wildest expectations, the event has sold out one week ahead of schedule.  "We always hope to sell out in the final hours preceding the event, but this was a real surprise, and a real pleasant one," said Tom.  Those wishing to make reservations for next year's event may do so beginning in Spring 2010.  We are maintaining a waiting list of those in need of tickets.  If you have extras that you wish to use to accommodate those who are wait-listed, contact Debbie at 349-3800 or debbie@SiestaKeyChamber.com.
